“My MA in anthropology provides a baseline for understanding the human condition. Cultural contexts and social realities change and shift over time but anthropology provides the tools to understand the shifting sands of our human experiences.
My PhD (ongoing) in sociology provides me with a template for understanding the structural coupling between my individual concerns and experiences, and the social conditions which inform the choices I have.
Together, these, related, yet complementary, degrees provide a depth and breadth of understanding the human condition and our place in the social world that is applicable to a wide range of jobs and social services in our contemporary world – Governmental organizations, NGOs, non-profit organizations and the business world all desire this set of skills.”
