I enjoyed the open debates in the classrooms while everyone was respectful and mindful, it really helped me understand people’s perspective on a lot of social issues. The strongest and most useful skill I learned from this program is advocating for your clients and community, it helped me a lot throughout my career from volunteering with refugees to working with homeless population and advocating for their rights. This program will give you the knowledge and skills to work with people from all types of backgrounds and to be sensitive to the needs of the residents in the community while still providing excellent service.”
