“I truly valued all of my time as an MA Sociology student. Professors and colleagues in the department were extremely supportive, making it the ideal learning environment for me. I started the program with my imposter syndrome at an all-time high, and left with much more confidence in public speaking and my abilities as a researcher. I feel I owe a lot of that to the support, guidance, and engaging atmosphere that the faculty members within this department provide for their graduate students. The qualitative and quantitative research, critical thinking, and analytical skills that I obtained throughout the program were key to being a successful candidate for my dream job at the Office of the Auditor General of Canada.”
