Neurodivergent Circle Workload & Time Management
Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm
- In-person event
- Loeb Building, Carleton University
- 1125 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, ON, K1S 5B6
You are invited to the Neurodivergent Circle!
This is an informal hybrid virtual and in-person (masks requested) drop-in for neurodivergent students, faculty, and staff to share space and offer mutual support.. Although neurodivergent is sometimes used as a synonym for autistic/ADHD, our use of the term is much broader and welcomes people with mental health issues, learning disabilities/differences, and anyone else whose mind diverges from the dominant societal standards of “normal.” A diagnosis is not required and those questioning their identity as neurodivergent are welcome. Anchored by students Andy Zubac, Kai Jacobsen, and Rachel Jobson, with faculty supporter Alexis Shotwell.
Future dates & themes: April 4 (Neurodivergent Representation and Community).
We also have a Discord server which you’re invited to join in order be connected outside of our meetings.
