“The anthropology professors at Carleton University have also done an excellent job of preparing me for a postgraduate program in Interdisciplinary Studies in Human-Centred Design, at Algonquin College. This program – combined with my B.A. in Anthropology – has helped me to begin a fascinating career in User Experience Research (UX Research).
Some of the most critical traits sought-after in my chosen career path are: the ability to understand how people make meaning of their lives as they interact with complex systems, and identifying stakeholder needs and frustrations. My professors at Carleton University have also helped me to better empathize with stakeholders when they provide feedback required to develop practical solutions to real-world social and business problems.”
