Sociology at Carleton was truly the right choice for me. Over the last four years, the sociology department offered me constant guidance and support. I value the close-knit community that the Sociology program offered, as well as the abundance of professional connections and mentors. The small class sizes made for a very intimate and supportive learning environment where everyone was encouraged to contribute their own experiences and perspectives. The priceless support and quality time that I received from my generous mentors made a difference in my academic training. I am very grateful I had the opportunity to study Sociology as it’s opened my eyes to the work I can do in the community.
