Stenio Fernandes is one of the AI Platform leaders at Element AI (EAI), Canada. He leads a team of Research Scientists and Developers in the context of Time-dependent problems, such as Time Series Forecasting, Anomaly Detection, and Spatio-Temporal modelling, applied to different industry verticals, such as Capital Markets, Retail, Cybersecurity, Manufacturing, and Insurance. His team is fine-tuning, productionizing, and integrating EAI’s state-of-the-art models into its products and services’ portfolio. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science (UFPE) with Post-Doctoral experience at the University of Ottawa. He is an IEEE Senior Member and a certified PMP. As a former Professor of Computing Science, he was involved in dozens of scientific research projects in Brazil (UFPE) and Canada (University of Ottawa and Carleton University). He published more than 140 scientific research papers in peer-reviewed conferences and journals. His citation indexes are: h-index = 19, i10-index = 32.
