March 8th is International Women’s Day. This year one of the ways the Carleton community is celebrating the achievements of women is by highlighting the work and accomplishments of some of our female faculty members, including Biology’s Lenore Fahrig. Dr. Fahrig received the 2018 Miroslaw Romanowski Medal from the Royal Society of Canada, which rewards high calibre environmental research in Canada.

Today we would like to celebrate Lenore, along with all the other women who serve as faculty, instructors, adjuncts, post-doctoral fellows, research associates, students, and staff in the Departments of Biology and Biochemistry.
