The Office of the Deputy Provost (Academic Operations and Planning) oversees faculty affairs, including academic hiring, career processes and academic labour relations and matters related to teaching assistants and postdoctoral fellows.
Faculty Affairs assists with navigating policies, procedures, and systems related to academic careers.
The Office also manages collective agreements for faculty, contract instructors, teaching assistants and postdoctoral fellows and organizes the monthly Academic Heads Roundtable to provide support for Chairs and Directors.
