Social Impact of Transformation in the Post-Communist Era
Political, economic and social changes that have accompanied the collapse of the Berlin Wall. The role of society in these political upheavals and the impact of the end of the Cold War on reform in Western and developing countries.
This course is a first-year seminar that meets over the Fall and Winter semesters. Preference will be given to those who focus on the following fields: energy; the environment; and civil society.
Applicants for this position should be advanced PhD students or have a PhD in a relevant discipline and relevant areas of expertise and teaching experience.
