Please join us in congratulating EURUS student Timur Sharapov for winning the award for 2015 Graduate Co-op Student
of the Year. Timur is currently studying for an MA in European, Russian and Eurasian Studies with the Institute. This award is given based on criteria such as providing excellent service and high-quality work, contributing positively to the morale of the company, and encouraging the employer to hire future coop students through their performance, among others.
As quoted from the award site:
“Being a quick and eager learner, Timur was able to manage a variety of diverse projects within our unit. He has proven to be an outstanding and capable employee, who is not afraid to take on new challenges and who strives for success,” said Valerie Lussier, Manager of Stakeholder Engagement and Outreach at the Canada Border Services Agency. “Timur’s performance has certainly encouraged us to hire other Carleton co-op students.”
