A sneak-peek into the EURUS Research Showcase
On Monday, 20 March 2017, EURUS faculty, students and alumni will be presenting their current research. Among those presenting will be Dr Joan DeBardeleben. When asked what research she will be presenting Dr DeBardeleben said that she would be discussing her work on EU-Russian relations.
New Chapter
Dr DeBardeleben’s segment in the EURUS Research Showcase will feature her newest chapter called: “Competing Regionalisms?: Alternative Paradigms for EU-Russian Neighborhood Relations” This is in relation to her ongoing work as part of a Jean Monnet Multilateral Research Group.
Multilateral Research
This research group involves scholars from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany; St. Petersburg State University (Russia); and University of Kent (Brussels campus) on “EU-Russia relations: Developing a transnational perspective”. Within this project, Dr DeBardeleben was responsible for a module in neighborhood relations between the EU and Russia. There are plans for a book to be published within the year.
