This year, a team of 6 EURUS MA students participated in Carleton’s Model NATO 2019 Conference. One team of 4 student delegates represented the Republic of Estonia in the North Atlantic Council (NAC) by Christine Evans, Military Committee (MC) by Jessica Passey, Civilian Intelligence Committee (CIC) by Demyan Plakhov,and the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Committee (EAPC) by James McAdam. One EURUS MA student delegate, Alexina McLeod, represented the Russian Federation in the EAPC, and EURUS also had another MA student delegate, Anastasia Koroleva, in the EAPC who represented Georgia.
The EURUS student delegate, Alexina McLeod, who represented the Russian Federation in the EAPC won Best Position Paper for the EAPC!
The EURUS delegate, Demyan Plakhov, who represented the Republic of Estonia in the CIC won Best Position Paper for the CIC!
Also, the EURUS delegate, Jessica Passey, who represented the Republic of Estonia in the MC won Best Position Paper for the MC!
