 The Canadian Ukrainian Diaspora:  Social Capital and Horizontal Legitimacy

This presentation will examine activities of Ukrainian Diaspora groups through two different kinds of linkages: the way diasporas impact on horizontal legitimacy in Canada, and the way in which they can, through formal and informal transnational linkages, contribute to the development of social capital in Ukraine.
