EURUS Newsletter – annual Newsletter published by the Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies
The Canadian Journal of European and Russian Studies (CJERS) is an electronic academic journal publishing scholarly works (research articles, notes, book reviews) on topics related to the European Union, its member states, the former Soviet Union, and Central and Eastern Europe. This open-access journal selects articles through a double-blind peer-review system. The goals of the journal are to provide an accessible forum for research and to promote high standards of research and scholarship. The journal is housed at the Centre for European Studies, a research unit associated with EURUS, and is operated in cooperation with the Canada-Europe Transatlantic Dialogue, a research network linking experts on the EU and European Studies in Canada and Europe. CJERS is grateful for continuing support from Carleton University and from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) for the period from 2008-2017.
Communist and Post-Communist Studies is an international, peer-reviewed scholarly journal featuring comparative research on current and historical developments in the communist and post-communist world. Post-communist states and societies encompass Central and Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, Asia, Africa, and Latin America, for which the term “post-communist” remains analytically useful as a temporal or geographical frame. The journal broadly covers domestic politics and societies, foreign policy and international relations, ideology and identities, political economy, political and human geography, and law. CPCS is edited by Prof. Paul Goode.
