“Macquarie offers academic support for student with IEP’s and mental health resources such as counselling and group therapy were offered as part of your enrollment. Students Campus life was amazing. Thanks to the exchange society, you can make connections with your peers. They plan daytrips (such as going to surfing lessons at Manly beach) and day/evening events. I took part is scavengers hunts, amazing races, and much more. “I lived in the Macquarie student village. There was a bus stop right outside the village as well as a shuttle bus to campus. Public transit is very easy to figure out. “I applied online with Commonwealth Bank and then once I arrived, I went in person to finalize my account. You will need your passport and Visa for this process. For my cell phone, I purchased a 6-month prepaid sim card from Optus. You buy these at the airport, grocery store, and shopping malls.” – Fall 2022, Bachelor of Global and International Studies

“I highly recommend going to the blue mountains. They have a great youth hostel that is close to all the hikes. Australia has a great public transit system, and it is very easy to take to train anywhere you’d like.
