A recently approved policy includes some changes to mobile services billing which may impact those that are not on the Carleton Corporate plan and are being reimbursed for a personal plan for university business.
Effective June 1, 2019 Carleton will no longer reimburse personal plans. Employees who require a mobile device to their job will need to transfer to the Carleton Corporate plan. For moreĀ information, please refer to the Acquisition of Wireless Cellular Services Policy.
To transfer your person line over, please put a ticket in with the ITS Service Desk at its.service.desk@carleton.ca or call ext. 3700.
In the interim, the following maximum reimbursement limit for personal devices is currently in place:
- $58/month (plus taxes) for personal expenses
- $42/month (plus taxes) for international roaming
As per the policy, effective immediately the individual will be responsible for any charges exceeding these amounts.
