Although the deadline has passed for receiving a financial adjustment when you withdraw from a course, you might decide to drop a course to avoid a failure or a poor grade showing up on your student record and affecting your CGPA. This is referred to as Academic Withdrawal.
Academic Withdrawals will create no financial change to fall term fees and will result in a grade of Withdrawn (WDN) appearing on your official transcript. WDN is a permanent notation that appears on your official transcript signifying no academic credit and will not impact your CGPA.
Please note that November 15, 2022 is the last day to withdraw, with no academic penalty, from full fall and late fall courses. This is new this year – in previous years, students were able to withdraw up until the last day of classes.
After November 15, you will no longer be able to drop courses. The Academic Withdrawal deadline to drop a full session (fall/winter) course is March 15, 2023. After this date, you will no longer be able to drop full session courses.
