On behalf of the Ethics and Public Affairs program and Department of Philosophy at Carleton University, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all who attended and contributed to the success of our recent conference and colloquium lecture. Your active participation and discussions truly made the event a memorable one.

A special thank you to our keynote speaker, Patti Tamara Lenard, from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Ottawa, for her enlightening talk, “Refugees in our City: The Impact of their Displacement on our Public Spaces.”

We are also grateful to all the graduate students who shared their work, exploring issues from physical spaces to digital platforms, and from policy to human rights. Your contributions deepened our understanding of the ethical challenges that arise in shared spaces and how we can cultivate inclusive and safe environments.

Lastly, we would like to acknowledge our organizing team and everyone who made this conference possible. We look forward to the continued exchange of ideas on public ethics in the future.

We hope to see you at our next event!
