Biography
Any/All Pronouns.
I have always had a plurality of interests, and my love of Philosophy shares my heart with my love of Mathematics, History, Games (designing and playing), and a general interest in understanding more about the world around me.
I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (It seemed like a good idea at the time). During that experience, I took enough Philosophy classes to become convinced it was something I wanted to seriously pursue. The 2025-26 Academic year is the first year of my Masters Program here at Carleton.
I find arguments for Generalized Skepticism very compelling, and am interested in the ways that we can construct meaning and/or live good lives without trying to rely on Truth.
I am interested in the ways that living under coercive institutions causes us to conflate ideas that are good for them with Facts that we Arrived At Rationally. In particular, I am suspicious of Gender as a tool of patriarchy, and have gotten rid of mineājust to be safe.
I accidentally took a bunch of Religion classes during my undergrad and am now fascinated with how unsubstantiated/unfalsifiable claims can nonetheless be worth holding (Occam’s Razor? I hardly know ‘er!)
