Biography
Wendy Burgess is a first year student in the MA Philosophy program at Carleton University. She has a degree in Ethics from Saint Paul University and an MBA from England’s University of Warwick. Wendy worked with the Secretariat on Responsible Conduct of Research for over ten years where she developed ethics guidance in the areas of research involving human biological materials, clinical trials, and research involving the secondary use of information. Prior to joining the Secretariat, she worked in product line and business management in the semiconductor and telecommunications industries. She is an Electrical Engineering Technology graduate from Algonquin College and has served on its Board of Governors.
