Long-time contract instructor Lynn Marshall is the Head Coach of the Carleton Masters Swim Team and the Manager of the Carleton Varsity Swim Team. In addition, she competes in Masters Swimming competitions and was inducted into the International Masters Swimming Hall of Fame in 2011. Lynn moved up to the 55 to 59 age category this year and between the end of January and the beginning of July, swam in twelve competitions: seven in 25m pools and five in 50m pools, racing in 52 events totaling over 14km. The competitions were in Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto, Halifax, Washington D.C., and San Francisco. This year Lynn has set 53 Ontario records in 31 events, 34 Canadian records in 21 events, and 14 World records in 12 events. There were also a few near misses, so Lynn has more racing planned!
