Rawan Alkurd wins Vanier Award

PhD student Rawan Alkurd has been awarded one of the two prestigious Vanier Awards won by graduate students at Carleton University this year. The award is worth $50,000 per year for up to three years.  Rawan is working on millimetre wave communications with Prof. Halim Yanikomeroglu.
