A number of our faculty members and researchers (Frank Knoefel, Rafik Goubran, and Bruce Wallace) are involved in an AGE-WELL National Innovation Hub.

“An AGE-WELL National Innovation Hub is a place where a broad range of stakeholders in the area of technology and aging can work together on technological innovations that will support seniors and their caregivers. The aim is to foster more efficient development, testing and delivery to market of products and services that will support healthy aging across Canada. The new hub in Ottawa is called Sensors and Analytics for Monitoring Mobility and Memory (SAM3 ). It will focus on the co-creation of solutions through user, industry, clinical and academic collaborations to help older Canadians maintain their independence, health and quality of life.”

You’re invited to the launch of the Hub on Monday November 27. See here for details and to register for the event.
