Dr. Bruce Wallace (Executive Director AGE-WELL NIH SAM3 ) attended the CMA Health Summit in Winnipeg on Aug 21-22 as part of a showcase collaboration with IHA Canada, TELUS Health, and Reacts engaging with almost 1000 healthcare practitioners from across the country. Canada’s aging population is placing increasing demands on caregivers and family members, as well as healthcare providers and our overburdened health systems. This showcase featured innovative smart-home space and technologies to support individuals to stay in their own home longer, live independently close to their community and families. The environment was equipped with technologies and applications that help individuals manage their health from the comfort of their home. AGE-WELL NIH SAM3 was founded by Carleton University and Bruyère.
