Alexander Fernandes, an MASc student in Biomedical Engineering co-supervised by Professor Eran Ukwatta and Professor Yuu Ono, has been awarded Vector Scholarship in Artificial Intelligence.

As a Vector scholar Alexander will be invited to participate in special events organized by the Vector Institute – the first of these is a networking lunch hosted by the Canadian Club on December 13, 2018 at the Royal York in Toronto where Ed Clark, Chair of the Vector Institute, will deliver a speech on the progress and potential of Canada’s AI Strategy. The event will celebrate the inaugural cohort of scholarship winners and provide you with the opportunity to connect with employers from companies and institutions leading in AI, as well as other scholars and representatives from government and universities.
