Congratulations – Will Sloan, a Master’s student in Computer Systems Engineering at Carleton University, has received a $3,000 scholarship from the Municipal Retirees Organization Ontario (MROO). This marks Carleton’s third year participating in the program.
Sloan’s research explores how devices like hearing aids and earbuds can monitor physical health, aiming to help seniors detect issues early and support rehabilitation. The scholarship will allow him to focus on his work over the summer.
