Spannagel, a third-year winger, was Carleton’s standout performer in the Ravens’ vital 38-21 win over Sherbrooke on September 24.

The 5-foot-4 junior was very involved in the Ravens’ attack throughout the game, carving up the Vert et Or defence and leading the way with two tries against Sherbrooke.

In addition to providing the Ravens with her scoring punch, Spannagel showed strength and determination on defence, and was named the Ravens’ top defender and player of the game in the matchup against the Vert et Or.

Ellen, a native of Calgary, AB, studies Journalism and Humanities at Carleton University.
