New data from the Faculty of Public Affairs concluded that a large majority of journalism and communication graduates are securing jobs outside of traditional media industries. Sixty percent of journalism alumni and eighty percent of communication alumni have established careers in other sectors of the economy.

FPA also collected data for their other departments: public affairs and policy management, political science, criminology and criminal justice, economics, law, and social work. The findings of their research yielded encouraging news for the faculty. Not only are FPA alumni successful in their careers, but they are successful in a multitude of ways.
