Award-winning author and journalist Buzz Bissinger spent 90 minutes at Carleton’s School of Journalism and Communication on Jan. 18, in conversation with Prof. Andrew Cohen and a capacity crowd of journalism students. This audio recording features Prof. Cohen’s conversation with Buzz and the question and answer period. Off microphone, U.S. Ambassador David Cohen introduced his friend Buzz, author of Friday Night Lights and his latest work, The Mosquito Bowl. In the conversation, Buzz explored his fascinating career and his approach to what he calls “immersive” journalism.
