Are you applying for Social Science and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) scholarships or the Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) this year? These programs are an important way of supporting your studies, as well as an opportunity to clarify your thinking about your research project. Prof. Benjamin Woo will hold a general introduction and orientation to external funding applications on Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 8:30–10:30 a.m. (CB 2104). This session will also feature a panel where CoMS doctoral students Jess Chapman and Stephan Struve will discuss what they learned from the process of writing and revising their successful applications.

Prof. Woo will also facilitate two peer feedback workshops, one for students applying to the PhD competitions (Sept. 25 from 8:30–10:30 a.m. in RB4400B) and one for students applying to the MA competitions (Oct. 30 from 8:30–10:30 a.m. in RB4400B).
