A former Windsor Star writer and Ottawa Citizen mobile reporter, this recent Carleton grad became digital news phenomenon BuzzFeed Canada’s first political reporter based on Parliament Hill and covered the 2015 federal election. She now works at BuzzFeed’s main political bureau in Washington, D.C. Emma was awarded the Robert and Alyce Martin Scholarship and Rachael Elizabeth Edwards Memorial Award during her time at Carleton.
