Justin Fiacconi
Biography
Justin recently earned his Master’s Degree in International Affairs from the Norman Paterson
School of International Affairs at Carleton University, specializing in conflict analysis and
conflict resolution. Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree
in Political Science from Algoma University and completed a thesis project on the theoretical
conceptualization of human security.
Justin has roughly four years of experience as an Editorial
Research Assistant and has recently become an Associate Editor for iAffairs Canada. His
interests include nationalism, political conflict, human rights, corruption, and the overlap
between international politics and global sports. Justin has always had a passion for writing and
researching, and moving forward, he hopes to become a successful journalist producing
long-form multimedia content relating to his topics of interest.
