Biography
Mariela has been a member of the Carleton University administrative staff for nine years. She held various positions within the Co-operative Education Office before joining the School of Journalism and Communication in February of 2024. Before coming to Canada, Mariela completed her degree in Peru, studying Translation and Interpretation in English and French. Prior to her time on campus, she held administrative support roles in the finance and manufacturing sectors. During the warm months, Mariela spends a great amount of time outdoors, enjoying her gardens at home.
