Biography

BPAPM, Carleton University; MA (Global Development Studies), Queen’s University

Darren studied Public Affairs and Policy Management at Carleton, specializing in development studies and minoring in economics. Recently he has studied at Queen’s University also in Global Development Studies, researching NGOs in a post-development context. He was Arthur Kroeger College Educational Student Society president during his final year of his undergrad, and has been a varsity rower through both of his degrees. He has contributed pieces to the Charlatan and Queen’s Journal on topics ranging from international humanitarian effort and intervention, as well as gender issues. He also has interests in topics such as political economy, culture, international politics/relations, and social justice.
