Paul Watson’s career has ranged between Mogadishu, where his 1993 photograph of a Somali mob dragging the body of an American soldier through the streets won him a Pulitzer, and the Canadian Arctic, where he challenged the received narrative about the famed Erebus discovery. Author of the best-selling 2007 memoir Where War Lives, Watson won many prestigious awards for his work as foreign correspondent for the Los Angeles Times and The Toronto Star.
