Sarah Samwel

Biography

Sarah Samwel is a PhD student in the Communications and Journalism Department. Her research interests include post-truth, misinformation, fake news and the influence of how we access information online. She has a Masters of Arts from the University of Calgary, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and an Advanced Diploma in Journalism from Centennial College. Before pursuing graduate studies, she worked with the CBC as an Associate Producer for the fifth estate and CBC News Network.
