Samantha Tinajero-Alvarado

Biography

A 2023 BA graduate of the Media Production program with a minor in Global Politics at Toronto Metropolitan University, Sam is continuing her studies as an MA Communication student specializing in Data Science.

Her research interests lie in social media, user behaviour, digital forensics, and data analytics. As an experienced social media marketer, Sam is inspired by the parasocial relationships formed online as well as what this means for the future of news, politics, law, sports, culture, and entertainment in social media spaces.
