Introduction to Algebra – Grade 7 & 8*
*Refers to the level of mathematics and not to the actual age.
We propose to cover the following topics:
-
- equations , system of equations;
- inequalities , system of inequalities.
Upon completion of the course, students can register for Competitive Math Program – Part I – Grade 9.
Course Information
In 2018/19, this course is being replaced with a Basic Algebra course, with the same curriculum, but a different Instructor.
The course will run from September 19, 2017 to May 2018 on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 (Break in December) in the School of Mathematics and Statistics Macphail Seminar Room, Room 4351 Herzberg Laboratories.
