Course Description
These courses will provide students the opportunity to pursue in-depth independent study in an area of current research in mathematics. Students must, in consultation with their graduate supervisor, develop a detailed course outline and marking scheme.
Course Requirements
The approved directed studies outline must be signed by the student, graduate supervisor, Graduate Director and School Director.
Submission Deadline
Once the student and graduate supervisor have completed the directed studies outline it must be submitted to the department for approval 30 days prior to the beginning of the semester. Students should allow ample time to complete the proposal before the 30 day deadline.
