Physics I (In-person)
grade 9*, or grade 8 students who have completed either Basic Algebra or Problem Solving in Algebra.
*For younger students, this refers to the level of mathematics/physics and not to the actual age.
We will cover in-depth the following topics:
- Electricity (Fall term)
- Kinematics and Ballistics (Winter term)
Pre-requisite: Knowledge of basic algebra.
Example: being able to express t = … from the equation s = vt + d.
2024/25 Course Information
The course will run in-person on Mondays, 5:30-7:00pm from September 23, 2024 to April 2025 (Break in December).

Class Location: Southam Hall, Room 306.
Maximum enrollment is 40 students per class.
We reserve the right to cancel the course with a full refund if minimum enrollment is not reached.
Registration Information
Registration for the 2024–2025 academic year is now closed. Registration for 2025–2026 will open in May 2025.
For students with limited financial resources fee waivers may be available. If you intend to apply for a fee waiver, please do NOT complete the regular registration. If you register for the course and then get approval for a fee waiver, there will be a non-refundable administration fee of $25 per registration.
