Physics II (grades 9-10).

Just as in Physics I, we will focus in this course on two main subjects: electricity and mechanics. In Physics II we will go deeper into these subjects, and we will focus on the concepts of forces, fields, energy, and conservation laws. We will also discuss the fundamental Newton’s laws.

Topics include:

  • Electric force
  • Coulomb’s Law
  • Electric fields
  • Electric potential and potential energy
  • Energy of an electric current
  • Newton’s Laws
  • Gravity force
  • Gravity field
  • Newton’s Law of Gravity
  • Potential energy
  • Kinetic energy
  • Energy Conservation Law
  • Circular motion
  • Satellite orbits
  • Hooke’s Law
  • Momentum
  • Momentum Conservation Law
  • Elastic collisions
