Canada Revenue Agency’s (CRA) IT Branch is looking to hire students and new graduates!
You are invited to join us for a virtual information session to learn about current and future job opportunities in technology at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). With offices from the Pacific to the Atlantic and everywhere in between, we have many IT career opportunities available!
During the session, you will have an opportunity to hear from a Senior Director Cyber Security Division and an IT Manager from the Threat Hunting and Incident Response Section.
The CRA offers a variety of apprenticeship and developmental programs for students and recent graduates, all designed to offer hands-on work and educational experiences. We have supportive networks and mentors, and offer training programs to help employees strengthen their existing skills and learn new ones to excel in their career. If you’re looking for meaningful work and the chance to grow professionally, consider the Information Technology Branch at the CRA!
The Government of Canada is committed to reducing barriers that may prevent persons with disabilities from fully participating in the workforce and developing and acquiring the skills they need for employment. With the enactment of the Accessible Canada Act, the government has made a clear commitment to a public service where persons with disabilities can contribute to their fullest in helping the federal government serve Canadians.
Let’s continue building an inclusive public service by hiring diverse and competent future public servants…starting here!

We employ individuals looking to work in some of the following areas of IT: Architecture, Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, Development, Infrastructure, Innovation, Project Management, Data Science, Database Management, Service Management, IT Support, Applications, Could Technology, Hardware Management, Server and Network Infrastructure Support and Security.
The CRA’s People First philosophy emphasizes our commitment:
- To create a respectful, inclusive workplace free from discrimination and harassment, and a workforce representative of Canada’s diverse population.
- To address underrepresentation of any of the designated groups which include; Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, visible minorities, people of colour and women.
In the spirit of truth and reconciliation, CRA’s senior management is devoted to building an inclusive workplace where employees feel welcomed, safe and supported and where the different views, ideas, life experiences, skills and knowledge of employees are valued.
