Ali enjoys positions of leadership where he can help others, and thrives on teamwork either on the soccer field or off it. He recommends ESP academic coaching as well as professor and TA office hours to get one on one support with class material. He also promotes the wide variety of mental health supports at Carleton: from meditation, to therapy animals, to counselling appointments. Ali believes it is important for students to help each other and listen to each other, and as a mentor he will invite students to give feedback and get involved.
