Out of all the resources at ESP, Patti most highly recommends workshops: “Workshops are the single best resource available to students…Learning the content twice over and through discussion prepared me for a successful semester.” Patti came to university after doing lots of different jobs in the workforce, and she is really enjoying her studies. Being a mentor is something she wants to do in order to help others find the tools and confidence to succeed. She enjoys listening and can relate to people who might normally keep to themselves and not always speak up.
