Andrea holds a BA Hons. in English Literature and Film Studies from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. They began their screen-based industry career after graduating in 2010 and returned to long-form fiction in 2019 following a tarot card reading that brought them back to narrative writing. Andrea completed the Humber College Graduate Certificate Program in Creative Writing during the first year of the pandemic (2020) where they wrote their debut novel, then went on to earn an MA in Creative & Critical Writing with Merit from Gloucestershire University (2022). Andrea’s critical work explores the overlap in speculative fiction and time travel, while their current narrative projects are a speculative short story anthology about probable futures and a creative non-fiction novel about their medicalized journey to Motherhood.
