Description

All clay carving tool kits require a deposit of $20 and must be returned clean and free from clay residue. The deposit should be paid via your student card when you pick up the kit and refunded when the kit is returned. If a kit is returned dirty it will result in lose of the deposit. For damage kits a replacement fee will be charged. Kolb Clay kits marked with a gold star have a higher replacement value and if returned damaged, may result in a replacement fee of up to $175 for each tool.

All rentable singer 4411 sewing machines require a deposit of $20 and must be returned in good operating function. The deposit should be paid via your student card when you pick up the machine and refunded when the machine is returned. We understand that after prolonged use, some regular "wear and tear" damage may occur (needle dull, used up thread, oiling required) but other damages such as imbalanced timing, damaged parts or missing parts that often result in improper use, will be assessed and may result in the deposit not being refund.

Please schedule and complete your sew machine orientation before booking a sewing machine rental. Sewing machine orientation can be found in the Laboratory Booking System.
