Humanitarian Affairs Asia would like to cordially invite youth leaders from Carleton University to attend the 6th University Scholars Leadership Symposium to be held in Hong Kong, from 1st – 7th August, 2015.
This year Humanitarian Affairs is partnering with the Hong Kong Government to provide a remarkable opportunity for the leaders of tomorrow. This year’s symposium aims to provide successful applicants with a sense of self confidence and leadership; strengths which are crucial in today’s global workforce. These outstanding individuals will harness their sense of responsibility, community, and empathy during the symposium.
Enrich, Educate, Enlighten – the theme of the Hong Kong Symposium 2015 – will include training sessions on personal development, communication, professional performance and pursuing your dreams. World-class presenters include renowned TED talkers such as Michelle Kim (2013 Inspiring Woman of Hong Kong), and Chandran Nair (Founder and CEO of the Global Institute For Tomorrow).
These inspiring speakers will share their experiences with over 1000 delegates from more than 45 countries. Other professional motivational trainers will encourage the delegates to take concrete action over their lives while building important transferable skills. Delegates will also participate in a Learning Journey, a full day of field experience, reaching out to local communities to further understand the global impact they can make. This is an enriching and unforgettable opportunity for young leaders.
If you would like to know more about this event or to request a Delegate Application form, you may visit the Symposium’s official website or contact Bridget Flood, Global Partnerships Specialist at Humanitarian Affairs Asia. The deadline for the delegate application is June 15th, 2015.
This is a life-changing experience not to be missed!
