Are you a new international student at Carleton University in Winter 2020? The I-Start orientation session will provide you with important information for your transition to student life in Canada. Participants will learn more about the International Student Services Office, tips for navigating Carleton University and Ottawa, the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP), and immigration information.
This orientation has been designed to meet the needs of all international students, including undergraduate, graduate, exchange, and study abroad students.
I-Start sessions will be running on the following dates:

- Monday, January 6 –1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (482 MacOdrum Library)
- Thursday, January 9 – 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (482 MacOdrum Library)
- Tuesday, January 14 – 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (482 MacOdrum Library)
- Friday, January 17 – 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (481 MacOdrum Library)
- Thursday, January 23 – 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (482 MacOdrum Library).
- Wednesday, January 29 – 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. (482 MacOdrum Library)
