No Assessment with Overload Privilege (NA)
We want to reassure you that a No Assessment (NA) notation is not a cause for concern. It simply means that you were not assessed because you have not yet completed 5.5 credits. This is a normal outcome for students, especially if you’re still early in your studies. You can continue in your program as usual, and this has no impact on your upcoming course registration. That said, it’s always a good idea to be aware of the minimum CGPA requirements for the decision of Eligible to Continue (EC), which are listed below.
To support your continued success, we’ve included some helpful resources and information below.
No Assessment with Overload Privilege means that while you have not received an Academic Continuation Evaluation decision, you have completed 4.0 credits since being admitted to an undergraduate degree program and you have an Overall CGPA of 7.00 or higher, allowing you to register in a maximum of 3.0 credits in each of the Fall and/or Winter sessions. In order to give all students fair access to available courses during the registration period, you will only be able to access your overload privilege on August 1, following the time-ticket period for returning degree students.
Please keep in mind that an overload can be a challenging workload. You are strongly encouraged to review your progress regularly, meet with an advisor, if necessary, and be aware of withdrawal deadlines if you choose to exercise your overload privilege.
Below you will find some important resources and information to assist you with your continued studies.
